Can We Save a Decorah Historic Landmark? -- The First Lutheran Church Building

DRC member Larry Grimstad will share his insights into the ongoing effort and process of "saving" the First Lutheran Church building in Decorah. A large percentage of our Club, including those who are not members of the First Lutheran Church, share an interest. They recognize the rich history of the church, its important contributions and services to our community, and the significance of the building as a landmark and a prominant part of the visual heritage of the Decorah skyline and historic district. Larry will talk about the sequential stages of the stabilization work and planning for the future.
