Ms. Brandi Brecht and Ms. Sherri Carolan are associated with Guardians of Northeast Iowa. They will be speaking about the services their organization provides to individuals in the surrounding area and across Iowa.
 
Guardians of Northeast Iowa, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides guardianship and trustee services to vulnerable individuals in Iowa. Since 2016, they have provided legal guardianship and conservatorship services for adults age 18 and older who have no appropriate family members to make decisions for their care and estate. Their clients often live with impairments that impact their decision-making capacity. They serve individuals who live independently, in group homes, or rehabilitation/nursing care facilities. Services include help with medical appointments, crisis prevention, employment services, educational services and more.
