"Helping Service of Northeast Iowa - Holiday Update"

​DRC member and Executive Director of Helping Services of Northeast Iowa, Carson Eggland, will highlight all of the holiday season initiatives on the Helping Services schedule this year. The mission of Helping Services is to prevent and intervene in areas of relationship violence, child abuse, and substance abuse. They are dedicated to equipping their board, staff, and volunteers to promote and facilitate meaningful social change for the health and safety of children, adults, and communities across Northeast Iowa. Prior to assuming Executive Director duties in June 2015, Carson and his wife Chauncy resided in Iowa City where Carson served the local Ronald McDonald House for 12 years.
