It’s a different kind of giving with a simple concept — leveraging individual donations into something bigger. DRC members Barrett Gipp and Mike Ludeking will share insights into the philanthropic strategy associated with the 100 Plus Men organization. There are 100 Plus Women groups too; local women's organizations adopting the same approach. Without planning elaborate fundraisers, these groups are leveraging pooled donations into large contributions for the benefit of worthy area non-profits. The funds are raised through member commitments to a set level of individual giving at each meeting. The meetings are high energy and the charitable results are large and impactful.
