History of Girls Sports Organization in Iowa

Noah Lovelace, a Decorah 8th Grader, will present his National History Day video documentary. His subject is the history of the girls sports organization in the State of Iowa with a focus on E. Wayne Cooley, who was a primary driver in the success of Iowa girls sports for many years. Noah’s grandfather, DRC member Mark Donhowe, worked for Mr. Cooley for several years. Noah's video documentary has qualified for the State of Iowa National History Day competition. Those who have previewed this documentary report that it is excellent and engaging.
