The Return of the Center Stage Series

DRC Sponsor: Lorraine Borowski

Our featured speaker for this meeting will be Kristen Underwood, Director of Campus Programming at Luther College. She will be highlighting the return of Luther's Center Stage Series, beloved and popular not only on the Luther campus but across the entire Decorah area community. The coronavirus outbreak scuttled concerts last school year, but Luther has announced the availability of tickets now for the scheduled performances, including a school show and an afternoon family concert.

The 2021-22 lineup includes performances by the following artists:
•  Ranky Tanky on Tuesday, October 5th
•  Cantus on Saturday, November 6th
•  "Gravity and Other Myths: A Simple Space: on Friday, February 25th
•  Goitse on Saturday, March 12th
•  The Brubeck Brothers Quartet on Friday, April 1st

All Center Stage Series performances are held in the Center for Faith and Life at 7:30 p.m.

The 2021-22 Center Stage Series also includes a school show and a family show:
•  Freedom Riders, a school performance for 5th through 8th graders at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 10th
•  The Okee Dokee Brothers, a family show, at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23rd

For all shows, the Luther College Ticket Office has built in ticketing flexibility to accommodate public health guidelines and the college’s COVID-19 protection protocols.
