American Red Cross Blood Drive

Every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood or platelets, which is why Decorah Rotary Club is teaming up with Decorah Lutheran Church to host our fifth annual collaborative blood drive, with blood donations going to the American Red Cross. Every blood donor can save up to three lives, and we know that members of our own club are with us today because of blood donors. 

There are four ways to help. Pick your favorite or be a superstar and do all four!

1. To sign up to donate blood, please visit https://tinyurl.com/DLCRotaryDrive26GiveBlood  We currently need at least 34 more donors, so now is a great time to sign up and invite a friend to join! 

2. To sign up to make or donate food items, please visit https://tinyurl.com/DLCRotaryDrive26Food We currently need three more food donors. 

3. To sign up to volunteer at the drive, please visit: https://tinyurl.com/DLCRotaryDrive26vol  We currently need seven more volunteers, including one to be our volunteer leader for the second half of the drive. 

4. To help spread the word, you can simply forward this email to friends who are not in Rotary with a note inviting them to support our efforts. Or, make sure you're following us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/decorahrotary and like and share blood drive related posts. The American Red Cross is offering many benefits to donors, like free A1C testing and a free pint of Culver's frozen custard! You can support the drive right from your phone by spreading the word as we post about these benefits.
